– Traffic cone (It was found thrown into a hedge, as it was broken). Did you know they come in yellow? This means vehicles are not allowed to stop. What other colours might you see?
– Soy sauce bottle – I keep a few old bottles and other containers that are pretty or unusual shapes. It fitted perfectly into the hole at the top of the cone!

– Plastic cup

– Old buttons. A lot of new clothes come with a spare button sewn inside.

– Cardboard Toilet roll tube. What else can you buy that has cardboard tubes inside?

– Page from magazine.

– Sheet music from old music book being thrown away. I wouldn’t normally throw away printed music but the songs in this book were out of fashion and the paper was smooth and fine.

– Old Christmas cards. Some cards are so pretty and shiny, it’s a shame to throw them out.

– Fabric scraps. You can use tiny pieces of leftover fabric or old clothes.

– Old beads. You can find cheap necklaces in charity shops and take them apart.

– Old map. Maps are printed on very good paper which folds well.
